I’ve heard of this wine for awhile but never saw it in person. I immediately took a picture of it when I saw it. It definitely has an easy-to-remember name. Apparently the 2009 used un-oaked Grenache wine from various sub-regions of Aragon and Navarra instead of Australia wine like previous year’s Bitch Grenache.

It has dark cherry and raspberry aromas underpinning with spicy, peppery notes with hint of anise. Apparently according to the wine maker Chris Ringland, the wine develops further personality 3 to 5 years in the cellar, making 2013 and 2014 the perfect year for consumption, so bring one to your girlfriend’s party!
